What's been going on since March...............

Ok so I know it has been a while since I updated everyone on what's been going on so here we go. I competed in the California Cover Miss Pageant in Pheonix Arizona Back in April. It was my first Glitz Pageant and I Loved It. I competed in Beauty, Swimwear, and Outfit of Choice. After a long day of performing in all three categories it was finally time for crowning. Since it was a double pageant with California Cover Miss and Celebrity Pageants there were two chances to win!I won Mini Supreme at the Celebrity Pageant and $120.00 and Queen at California Cover Miss. I also took home a someother awards for Pretiest Hair, Best Personality, and overall Outfit of Choice.



















After the pageant in California it was back to North Carolina to get ready for my North Carolina Sunburst Pageant. Unfortunantly about two weeks after I got home I was riding on my 4wheeler I got for Christmas in the front yard and I fell off and broke my arm. My mom had to call 911 because it was such a bad break. I broke my Humerous bone which was not humerous at all. I can joke now because I am all better.




So after about two months in a cast and about one month of water therapy I was good to go.

My mom and I talked about me doing another pageant but had not foind one to compete in. So about two weeks ago my mom said she signed me up for a pageant in CHarlotte, NC called the Breathtaking Beauties Beauty Pageant. I was kind of mad because I haad not practiced at all. But she told me we would practice all week and I would be fine. So I did just that. She even got me a new Beauty Dress and a new Outfit of Choice. I was excited to get back on stage especially after the bad break in my arm and the long break. I competed in the Glitz Pageant in the morning and the Natural Pageant that night. It was so much fun. At the Glitz Pageant I took home Mini Supreme, Best overall Outfit of choice, Pretiest Hair, and Best Dressed and at the Natural Pageant I took home Overall Most Beautiful Queen.






So now I am working on getting ready for the North Carolina State America's Gorgous Girls Pageant in Fayetville, NC on September 11. I am also going to be doing the My Little Miracle Pageant in Suffolk, VA on Aug 28th where I hope to win my first Grand Supreme title. I love getting on stage and showing everyone what I can do.

My Little Miracle Pageant Queen

Yesterday I competed in the My Little Miracle Pageant in Richmond Virginia.  We started off with Swimwear which was a first for me.  I watched 7 other little girls go before me then I got on stage walked down the runway did my pose then started to walk back.  About half way I stoped and with my back facing the judges I turned my head and gave one last smile before leaving the stage.  After swim wear I got in my beauty gown and waited for my turn to take the stage again and do my interview question.  I was good walking down the runway in my beauty gown but when I got done I got nervous all of a sudden.  The lady introducing us asked me my question "What do you like best about doing pageants?" and all I could say was "Medals and Trophies!".  My mom said I did good but I know it was not the best I could have done.  After beauty was over I had to wait for over an hour for crowning.  They first announced all the optional winners and I got a little trophie for my age group.  Then it was time to announce the Queens for each age group and last was the Grand Supreem Winner.

Last Monday after school my mom and I went down to the Daily Advance so Robert Kelly-Goss could interview me for an article for the sunday paper.  He talked to me about having Cerebral Palsy and about being in beauty pageants.  I was kinda nervous while he was talking to me but excited to see how my article would come out.  So this morning my mom and I got up and went down to a gas station down the road and picked up a copy of the Daily Advance.  I started reading the article as soon as my mom got the paper.  I am so excited for everyone else to read it also.  Here is a link to the article and I hope you like it!

I AM Little Miss Greenville Sunburst

Last night I was so nervous! But I did it.  I got up on stage and did my beauty walk and interview question.  The pageant director even told me I looked perfect.  So I was crowned Little Miss Sunburst for Greenville NC.  I also won Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Most Photogenic, Best Attire, Best Model look, most beautiful, and Prettiest Smile. I am also qualified to go to the State Competion in Charlotte NC which we are going to do the first week in May.  Even though I was nervous it was so much fun.  I had so many people there from Elizabeth City to cheer me on like My grandma and grandpa, my mom, Rene and Gabe, Hanna and Kathy and April.  They were all cheering for me and it helped me so much.  I came home with two trophies, a crown and six medals.  Thank you to everyone who was there cheering me on!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow's the big day

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is the big day.  My very first live pageant.  I have my dress and shoes and my fancy earings and necklace.  I am ready to go!  My mom even got us a room at a fancy hotel.  This is'nt my big national pageant out in california but it is the first time I will be on stage infront of judges and strangers doing my pageant walk and my beauty smile.  I am a little nervous but my mom says I am going to be great.  I have been practicing every day on my walk making sure I stand up straight and especially smile big.  I have even been practicing my interview questions.  Tomorrow my friend Gabe will be there with his mom and   Hanna with her mom and my mom and Grandma and Grandpa and April.  I will get on my Blog tomorrow after the pageant and post pictures and tell everyone how I did.  Thanks for reading and stay tuned for results tomorrow.
