I AM Little Miss Greenville Sunburst

Last night I was so nervous! But I did it.  I got up on stage and did my beauty walk and interview question.  The pageant director even told me I looked perfect.  So I was crowned Little Miss Sunburst for Greenville NC.  I also won Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Most Photogenic, Best Attire, Best Model look, most beautiful, and Prettiest Smile. I am also qualified to go to the State Competion in Charlotte NC which we are going to do the first week in May.  Even though I was nervous it was so much fun.  I had so many people there from Elizabeth City to cheer me on like My grandma and grandpa, my mom, Rene and Gabe, Hanna and Kathy and April.  They were all cheering for me and it helped me so much.  I came home with two trophies, a crown and six medals.  Thank you to everyone who was there cheering me on!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow's the big day

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is the big day.  My very first live pageant.  I have my dress and shoes and my fancy earings and necklace.  I am ready to go!  My mom even got us a room at a fancy hotel.  This is'nt my big national pageant out in california but it is the first time I will be on stage infront of judges and strangers doing my pageant walk and my beauty smile.  I am a little nervous but my mom says I am going to be great.  I have been practicing every day on my walk making sure I stand up straight and especially smile big.  I have even been practicing my interview questions.  Tomorrow my friend Gabe will be there with his mom and   Hanna with her mom and my mom and Grandma and Grandpa and April.  I will get on my Blog tomorrow after the pageant and post pictures and tell everyone how I did.  Thanks for reading and stay tuned for results tomorrow.

So I just found out I am the Little Miss Starshine 2nd Runner Up.  Its not Queen but it is still a good title.  This was my first pageant online and I am so excited about it.  I will be receiving a crown,  a sash, and a special gift.  I am going to check the mail every day untill it comes.  I am also excited because in three days I will up on stage competing in my first live pageant.  Its the Miss Sunburst Pageant in Greenville, NC.  I am all ready for that one!  My mom told me that we are going to stay the night at the Hilton Hotel and I am super excited about staying there after the Pageant on Saturday!!!

Also I am also still looking for sponsors for my CA cover miss pageant so if you can sponsor me I would love that.  Thank you for reading my blog and make sure to come back again because I will be posting my results of my pageants as soon as I find out.

1 week till Sunburst and my online pageant

My Blue Dress and My pageant partner

I got my blue beauty dress yesterday.  Blue is my favorite color so I was very excited to get it. I am going to wear this dress next weekend at the Sunburst Pageant in Greenville.  I am also going to wear it in Arizona for my big pageant.

Selling tickets

Practice Practice Practice

I am finnaly all done with home work.  So I have decidied to play on the computer for a while then I am gonna get back to proacticing my  beauty walk.  I even practice at school when I am walking down the hall and when I am at gym.  I told my mom that yesterday I wasmy  practicing in gym class and she was so proud of me.   We are gonna try to go to the theatre maybe during the day and have a practice on the stage there.  I have also got my interview speech all done.  I am gonna say "Hello my name is Savannah Hess and I am 10 years old.  I am in the 4th grade.  I love puppies and kittens and my favorite sport is soccer.  When I grow up I want to be a marine mammel vet."  I have been practicing saying that over and over.  My mom will look at me out of no where and say Beauty Smile.  When she does that I look at her and smile.  That really helps me with getting a perfect smile.  Now I am off to practice my walking again.

Fitting the Dress

I have my dress and now I am practicing standing up straight so I don't step on the dress, its kinda hard. Thanks Grandma for shortening the dress so I don't trip. Here I am in my new Beauty dress.   My mom bought it on ebay and we are putting on extra jewles to give it a extra glitzy look.  I like it alot and I can't wait to wear it in the pageant!!!!!!!!!!!

Learning about pageants

Today I learned something new about the pageant world.  My mom asked me if I thought it was good for my name to be called first or last and I said first ofcoarse.  I thought if I got called first then I was in first place.  Well I was wrong.  My mom explained two things to me.  First off it does not matter when my name get called as long as I tried my best I am always first place to her and second the way of the pageant world.  The way the pageant works is this, if you don't get called right away that is actually good.  If you get a crown for your age you usually don't get the overall title for the whole pageant.  The big crown means you had the best score out of everyone.  Thats ok though I am just going to try my hardest cause I want the big trophy and crown but if I don't win I will know I tried my hardest and that is all that matters.  As long as I have fun I know my family will be proud but I really do want the big trophy cause it would be cool to show off

SWIMWEAR AND EVENING GOWN PINK PINK PINK

Happy Valentines DAY!!!!!!!!!!

This morning my mom had me try on my swim wear for the pageant.  It is a two piece pink suit.  it has shiney pink flowers allover it with beads that hang from the bottom of the top.  It is so shiney and shimmery I really love it.  My Grandma is fixing my gown which is also pink.  and has alot of shiney stones on it. 

Today I am going to practice my slow beauty walk with my pageant shoes on.  I wore them for the first time yesterday and even though the heel in not that big they are a little hard for me to walk in.  My Grandma and my mom said the more I practice the easier it will get.  I hope they are right.  I am getting more excited everyday about my pageant.

SNOW SNOW SNOW. So it is supposed to snow tonight. last time it snowed was a few weeks ago. Snow is my favorite. I could nto play in it because I has a photo shoot for my upcomming beauty pageant. By the time my pictures were done being taken it was too late to play out side. So if it smows tonight I am gonna be outside playing in the snow!!!Ill post pictures tomorrow of me hopefully playing in the snow and getting my mom with a few snowballs. I also got my very glitzy fusia gown today and my fancy shoes. I am all set. I have my dress, swim wear and my awsome rockstar outfit. I am going to do a small pageant in Greenville NC call Sunburst Pageant to get a little expirence in. I hope I win!!!

So yesterday I had my photo shoot and I got some really good pictures. Some I look super grown up and some I look super young. I like them all though, I had so much fun acting like a super model and my mom and her friend april made the whole day about me. Today I am j.ust relaxing and not practicing. I also had a snow day from school today so I spent the entire day at the Coast Guard Base where my mom works.
